Empire Health is a multidisciplinary medical centre offering specialist consultations, diagnostic coordination, dental services, rehabilitation advice and health education. These Terms describe the legal relationship between you and Empire Health in connection with the website and non-emergency digital communications. They do not replace the clinical consent forms, financial estimates or treatment agreements you may sign at the time of care.
Nothing on this website creates a clinician–patient relationship until a qualified professional has accepted you for care, completed appropriate identity and clinical intake steps, and agreed a plan. Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed booking and not an undertaking that a particular doctor is available on a particular date.
You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict anyone else’s use of the site. You agree not to attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website, not to introduce malware, and not to harvest email addresses or other data from forms for marketing unrelated to your own care.
If you submit information on behalf of another adult, you confirm you have that person’s authority. If you submit information concerning a child, you confirm you are a parent or legal guardian or otherwise authorised to do so. You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates of birth, medication lists and contact details you provide.
Articles, department descriptions, frequently asked questions, pricing overviews and blog posts are provided for general health education. They are written in a clinical style so families can prepare better questions, not so they can self-diagnose or self-treat. Symptoms that appear similar on a webpage can have very different causes. Only an appropriately registered clinician who has taken a history and, where needed, examined you can offer personal medical advice.
Emergency symptoms—including sudden chest pain, sudden weakness or speech change, severe breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, a first seizure, or loss of consciousness—require immediate local emergency services. Do not use website forms as a substitute for emergency care. Empire Health does not guarantee that a coordinator will read a message in time to intervene in a crisis.
Drug names, doses and “typical” recovery times mentioned in educational content may not apply to you. Never start, stop or change a prescription because of something you read here without speaking to the clinician who issued it.
Appointment requests submitted through this website are received by a coordinator who will attempt to match department, named-doctor preference and your stated availability. Confirmation occurs only when Empire Health sends you a message accepting a specific slot. Until then, no clinical duty to treat has arisen beyond ordinary professional courtesy in handling your enquiry.
Please cancel or reschedule as early as you reasonably can if you cannot attend. Repeated non-attendance without notice may lead to a requirement for pre-confirmation or, in persistent cases, a decline of further routine bookings so that other patients can be seen. Urgent clinical need will still be triaged fairly.
You agree to treat staff, other patients and visitors with respect. Threatening, abusive or discriminatory behaviour, filming staff without consent, or attending under the influence of substances in a way that prevents safe care may result in the visit being paused or ended. Clinical teams will still take reasonable steps to address immediate medical danger.
Published pricing plans describe typical consultation packages. They are starting points, not a guarantee that your episode of care will cost exactly that amount. Imaging, laboratory tests, dental laboratory work, devices, medications, procedures and multi-disciplinary reviews are quoted when clinically indicated. You will be given an estimate before non-emergency extras proceed, and you may decline or defer.
Payment terms for completed visits will be explained at confirmation or at the time of service. Package names (Starter Care, Family Care, Specialist, Complete) may be updated; the description in force on the day of booking applies unless we notify you of a material change before the visit.
Third-party insurers, employers or scheme administrators, if any, have their own rules. Empire Health is not responsible for a third party’s decision to reimburse or refuse a claim. You remain responsible for fees that are not covered.
Website forms are client-side validated to reduce incomplete submissions. Successful on-screen confirmation means your browser accepted the data format; it does not by itself prove that a clinician has read the content. Keep a copy of anything you type if it is important to you.
Do not upload or paste unnecessary copies of identity documents, full financial account numbers, or photographs of other people without their permission. Share the minimum clinical detail needed to route your request. Official medical records created during care are held under our clinical record-keeping standards and the Privacy Policy.
Comments posted on blog articles must be civil, relevant and free of another patient’s identifiable health information. We may remove comments that are spam, promotional, defamatory, or that offer dangerous medical instructions.
The Empire Health name, logo, site design, written educational content and original graphics are protected by intellectual-property laws and remain the property of Empire Health or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use related to your own health. You may not copy the site as a template for another clinic, scrape content in bulk, or present our materials as your own clinical advice.
Photographs of clinicians, facilities and patients are used with appropriate rights and, where required, consent. They are illustrative of the kind of care we provide and are not a promise that a particular staff member will treat you on a given day.
The website may link to social platforms or external resources for convenience. Empire Health does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of social networks to share our articles is at your own discretion; avoid posting personal medical details in public comments.
We aim to keep the website available, accurate and reasonably secure, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting issues, or events beyond our reasonable control may cause downtime. Information such as opening hours, package prices and clinician lists can change; if a detail is critical to your plans, confirm it through a submitted form and wait for a coordinator’s reply.
You are responsible for the device, browser and connection you use. Enable updates and protect your email account, because appointment details will be sent there.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Empire Health and its clinicians, employees and contractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website, including loss of data, loss of chance, or decisions you make solely on the basis of educational articles without a personal consultation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot legally be limited. Clinical care that has been formally accepted is governed by professional standards and by the specific consents you give at the time of treatment, which prevail over website copy in the event of conflict on a clinical matter.
You agree to indemnify Empire Health against reasonable claims, damages and costs (including professional fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your submission of false or unauthorised information, or your violation of these Terms or of any law, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services you acknowledge that policy. Newsletter preferences are managed on the Subscribe and Unsubscribe pages in the footer of this website.
We welcome feedback about communication, waiting, clinical explanation and dignity in care. Please use the contact form and mark the subject as a complaint or compliment so it can be routed to the right lead. We aim to acknowledge concerns and to investigate them fairly. Raising a complaint will not of itself reduce the standard of clinical care you receive.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any confirmed appointment notice, constitute the entire agreement regarding website use and digital requests. They do not override mandatory consumer or patient-rights laws that apply to you.
